Midwestern State adds another QB?

On the dotted line

Eleven former Compton football players have signed national letters of intent, according to new head coach Jason Brown.

The list is led by wide receiver Dustin Blount and free safety Anthony Wilcox. Blount has signed with Hawaii and Wilcox signed with Arizona, both Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly Division I) schools.

Offensive lineman Talon Beaudreaux (Jackson State), defensive end Antonio Hardwick (Jackson State), Offensive lineman Marques Roy (Albany State) and defensive back Chris Williams (North Dakota) have signed with Football Championship Subdivision (formerly I-AA) schools.

Five other players - quarterback Kyle Parrish (Ferris State), tight end Victor Gutierrez (Tuskegee), quarterback Cleven Doty (Midwestern State), offensive lineman Brandon White (Lane University) and defensive tackle Jacoby Hammonn (Arkansas Tech) - have signed with Division II schools.
Doty was a Rivals 2 Star dual threat QB prospect coming out of high school in 2005.

Last year he was 69-111 for 1,021 yds 10 TDs and 7 Ints with a QB rating of 156.5. He rushed for 69 yds on 39 carries, and Compton went 1-9 on the season.
