Javelinas have first practice, team excited for year with Atterberry
KINGSVILLE-After a 3 and 8 finish in 2007, the Javelinas are looking to their second year under Bo Atterberry to be one of their best.
Last year, the Javelinas finished fifth in the Lone Star South Division, and they feel like they have something to prove this year.
"We couldn't be happier with the coach that he is and we are happy that he and his coaching staff are back," Javelina linebacker Mike Martinez said. "You know I expect nothing but good things this season; they got us going in the right direction."
