Mustangs regain No. 7 ranking in NABC Division II Poll

WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Midwestern State moved ahead two spots to No. 7 in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches' Division II national poll released Tuesday afternoon.

The Mustangs (24-2) rolled to a pair of Lone Star Conference South Division wins last week which included a road win at Texas A&M-Kingsville on Wednesday before dusting Abilene Christian Saturday night to extend their home court winning streak to 25 games at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.

Midwestern has carried a national ranking for each of the last 12 reporting periods which is the most consecutive weeks an MSU squad has appeared in a national poll.

(Scoop Note: Central Oklahoma dropped out of the poll, but is the top vote getter not ranked. Tarleton State also received one vote)
